Climalit with low emissivity incorporates a transparent metallic coating on the inside of the glass. Depending on the type of layers applied, the insulation is reinforced to a greater or lesser extent. The application is carried out by ion bombardment in a high vacuum chamber.

Low emissivity gives Climalit a dual function:

SUMMER: It reduces the heat that passes through the glass into the home by up to 40%. A direct saving on the air conditioning consumption bill. It also reduces the feeling of a radiating wall in summer.

WINTER: Reduces heat loss through the glass in the home by up to 70%. Glass is the material with the worst level of insulation of the facades of houses, so it is advisable to install this type of glass.                                 

Climalit with low emissivity adds an additional benefit, reducing the risk of condensation on the glass inside the home.

It can be seen that condensation occurs in single glazing at 10ºC, in Climalit at 0ºC, and in Climailt with low emissivity, at -16ºC outside temperature, in conditions of 60% relative humidity and an air temperature in the room of 21ºC.

Thanks to research into the insulation of living and working spaces, it is now possible to simultaneously achieve two objectives that were difficult to reconcile in a single glass pane: acoustic insulation and physical safety.

STADIP Silence is a laminated product consisting of two or more panes of glass between which a special butyral film is sandwiched. This material has a high capacity for acoustic insulation and adhesion to glass, together with high strength and elasticity.

In addition, in the event of an accident, the pieces of glass remain attached to the butyral, the whole remaining inside the frame, which provides safety for people and prevents them from falling into the gap.

In cases of extreme insulation requirements we offer exclusive finished products, ready to install on site, which incorporate the frame together with the glass and are supplied welded in one piece. These applications require a prior study of the opening to be closed, partitions, ceilings and floors, in order to design a suitable technical and global solution.

A series of transparent metallic layers are applied to the glass, which adds the benefit of solar filtering, as part of the heat that passes through the glass is from direct radiation from the sun. By adding this feature to the climalit we find the perfect solution for the Mediterranean climate.
